Throwback Thursday: Watch “Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Gladys Knight – That’s what friends are for” on YouTube

Tuesday was #WorldAIDSDay and to mark this week’s #ThrowbackThursday, I thought I would highlight the 1985 classic, #ThatsWhatFriendsAreFor, featuring Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, and Elton John and it raised over $3 million for AIDS research. Fun Fact: Did you know the song was originally recorded in 1982 by Rod Stewart for the soundtrack to the movie Night shift? Really? This version was an awesome collaboration. Happy Birthday Stevie Wonder

May 13, 2020 marked the 70th Birthday of the musical icon, #StevieWonder. As a person who grew up in the 70s and 80s, his music was a part of the soundtrack of my life. Some of my favorite songs are Sir Duke, Master Blaster Jammin, Living For the City, All I Do, Ribbon In The Sky, just to name a few. What are your favorites? #HappyBirthdayStevieWonder #OldSchool #the40andoverproject #theclique
